The Role We are looking for Support Worker in the Home Care space, who is passionate about a client-centered approach to care. Our clients are located in the Tamworth region with an office in Tamworth and a head office located at Bundaleer Aged Care Community in Wauchope. You must be dedicated to working in the Home Care Model and be able to apply applicable quality standards, including the Aged Care Quality Standards, NDIS Practice Standards and Attendant Care Standards. What You Will Do The Support Worker's duties include: Cleaning and Maintenance Personal care Social support Light Domestic duties Assisting clients with activities of daily life Support Client mobility and transport needs Recording client progress and feedback from client families Audits of Infection control procedures and inventory Day, evening and overnight shifts Who are you and what will you bring? Certificate III in Aged Care/Disability Be passionate about delivering a person-centered approach to care Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to work autonomously Hold a current NDIS Worker Check (or are willing to obtain) Current First Aid Certificate Current NSW Drivers license + comprehensive motor vehicle insurance Must require a COVID and Flu Vaccine Interested?
